FOMC Chatter ahead of the September 2011 Meeting

The FOMC chatter during the intermeeting period was dominated by Fed officials offering their views on the (conditional) calendar-based forward rate guidance in the August statement. We see a deeply divided Committee, whose members offered a wide range of perspectives on the August decision.
